Overview


Voyagers' Community School in Eatontown is a grassroots, private, non-for-profit day school educating students Pre-K through 12. They maintain a strong philosophy and a promise to educate and be educated, teaching traditional academics in non-traditional ways. They create a learning environment that enables children to excel academically and intellectually while growing socially and emotionally. They have a strong outdoor emphasis and practice a great deal of green measures in their daily life, including cloth towels in the bathroom and homemade green cleaning products made by students, parents, and faculty.

Duties


  • Assisting with daily classroom routine
  • Making plans for outdoor classroom space and themes
  • Performing daily administration tasks
  • Interacting with students and families
  • Creating individualized plans to promote student motivation
  • Cleaning and making cleaning supplies
  • Gathering, compiling, and analyzing data and creating outcome measures
