Overview

The Student Intern Program allows students to explore career options in the United States Secret Service and develop personal and professional skills in various field offices throughout the United States.

Duties

  • Mainly clerical
  • No previous experience required

Requirements

  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be at least 16 years of age at the time of appointment
  • Be enrolled in a college or university and be receiving course credit
  • Obtain an agreement from the university to participate
  • 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average
  • Not be a son or daughter of a current Secret Service employee

  • Work a minimum of 12 hours a week for one semester
