Overview


The State of NJ Juvenile Justice Commission is recruiting volunteers to tutor or mentor incarcerated adolescents at one of 45 detention centers throughout New Jersey.


Duties


  • tutor incarcerated adolescents (12-18 years old) in a variety of subjects
  • be a positive role model and mentor



Requirements


  • 18 years or older
  • Psychology, Health Studies, and Social Work majors preferred
