Duties

• A prevalent expectation among interns is to have an assigned supervisor or mentor who can offer guidance, feedback, and support throughout their internship journey. The positive impact of supervision on interns' success in their chosen careers is a well-established fact. For newcomers to the workforce, additional support proves instrumental in swiftly adapting to the workplace culture. This support not only instills confidence but also aids interns in becoming acquainted with their work environment and the individuals within it. Therefore, the primary goals and expectations of internships centering around supervision and guidance provide a sense of comfort in unfamiliar territory, serving as an excellent means to navigate challenges more smoothly.

We understand that this is a learning experience and we all start somewhere. However, we do recommend reviewing the CDC developmental milestones prior to beginning with us. This will equip you with a thorough understanding of where a child should be in terms of development, and where a potential delay in milestones is.
