Overview


The Human Resources Department at Six Flags Great Adventure has an excellent opportunity for you to gain experience in all aspects of Human Resources, including planning and development, administration, employment law, employee relations, recruitment and training. This department is one of the few that offers a year-round internship. Spring/Summer interns will focus on Training, Development, Orientation and Retention. Fall/Winter interns will focus on Recruitment.


Duties and Outcomes


Recruitment:

  • Developing and implementing an effective recruitment program from start to finish
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts for recruitment plans
  • Assisting with High School. College and Senior Recruitment Fairs


Orientation:

  • Developing and implementing an effective Orientation program


Training:

  • Developing and implementing an effective Training program
  • Training preparation
  • Training presentation
  • Training Management and Supervisors


Coursework toward your degree or career will focus on these areas:

  • Employment Law
  • Human Resources Planning and Development
  • Human Resources Management
  • Recruitment and Retention
  • Organizational and Individual Development
  • Compensation and Administration Management



Requirements

  • Attend orientation
