Overview



What is Sesame Workshop? children and their families. Beginning with Sesame Street, and later The Electric Company, Ghostwriter, Dragon Tales, and other programs, Sesame Workshop designs, researches, and produces television shows as well as other media.

Sesame Workshop offers several New York City-based internships in research and development that may be appropriate for psychology students.

Duties


Duties will vary by position. For research position, students will perform library and online research to inform on children’s media projects, stimuli development, interviewing children, collecting, coding and verification of data, screening show segments and reviewing drafts of digital media resources in preparation for testing with young children or adult caregivers.
