Rape Care Advocate

Overview

This program offers health and supportive care for victims of sexual violence.

Duties

• Assist with group counseling
• Provide support for victims
• Provide information and referrals to victims
• Community presentations on sexual violence awareness

Requirements

• No experience needed
• Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate training that will prepare volunteers to competently fulfill duties and answer a 24hr hotline
• Bilingual volunteers are encouraged to apply
