Student Feedback
I spent my days researching election news in states that had governors’ races. Additionally, I helped organize previous election results in preparation for the 2022 midterms. This site utilizes Excel; however, it is not too formulaic nor difficult to grasp. The people here are very friendly and helpful, and would help with any concerns I had. Most of the skills practiced were definitely organizational and analytical. The most enjoyable part about this experience was the positive work environment. The people there were definitely passionate about their students’ success. The least enjoyable part about this site was the political aspect. This site is heavily based in political discourse; however, it is mostly about results and numbers. It was not too focused on politics where policies and legislation were the focus, it was more about how people vote. Students that are best fit for this site would definitely be students interested in research and marketing. I think the skills acquired here will definitely carry with me throughout my professional career. In the same way, someone who is good with numbers and understanding data will definitely thrive at the polling institute.
