New Jersey Aquarium

Overview

The Adventure Aquarium is located in Camden, New Jersey on the Delaware River waterfront. It houses 8,500 animals and is the fifth largest aquarium in the U.S.

Duties

• Gain knowledge of different animals and species
• Provide care for the animals and exhibits (e.g. preparing food, cleaning up)
• Assist in creating enrichment activities
• Work on exhibits outside
• Speak in front of groups of people

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Working outside
• Strong public speaking skills
• Classes taken in biology or psychology
• 120 hour limit/semester
