Overview

MonmouthCares, Inc. is a care management organization that is part of the New Jersey Division of Behavioral Health Services (DCBHS). They utilize a wraparound model to help children with emotional and behavioral challenges. They offer internships in different areas including; Public Relations, Community Resources, Human Resources and Case Management.

Duties

(vary by position)

• Attend Community Resource meetings to network with agencies that support Monmouth Cares
• Provide new insight into how to obtain resources from the community
• Foster relationships within the surrounding community
• Work with the entire Community Resource Development team on current projects
• Assist in the Human Resources Department
• Assist with Case Management and the clients receiving services

• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to contact local businesses by email, phone, or in person
• Must be willing to work on a variety of projects
• Flexibility and time-management

• There is not a specific application process
• There are different departments within this organization (Human Resources, Public Relations, Case Management, Community Resources)
• Call the facility (number below) and identify which internship interests you to be connected to the appropriate supervisor
• You will probably be asked to submit a resume and come for an interview
