Overview


Make a Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that assists children with medical illnesses get the chance to make their wishes a reality. The foundation works with families, sponsors, donors, doctors, and other referral sources to determine if a child is eligible for the Make a Wish program. Today, over 25,000 volunteers aid in making a difference in a terminally ill child's life.

  • Help plan and coordinate successful "wishes"
  • Fund-raising
  • Help plan special events
  • Office work
  • Public speaking
  • Advocacy
  • Serve on committees



Requirements


Volunteers must be able to devote their time to working with various individuals and be invested with the Make a Wish mission. Volunteers should be willing to work with children that are terminally ill, and should be responsible for providing transportation for themselves to specific events or office locations.
