Training Package* – intern will be assigned a topic to research and expected to put together a comprehensive training package (of course the intern will be given appropriate guidance and coaching to achieve success). *Topic may vary, upon mutually agreed topic. Group Therapy Training – Have a first ‘inside’ look into what real group therapy is like! We will aim to conduct therapy groups and have the interns join the session, to see firsthand what the experience is like. Interns can observe and learn the dynamics of the group therapy, as well as, an opportunity to learn how to take Psychotherapy Notes, which is a critical skill. **Depends on client demand for group therapy.
Individual Therapy Training – very limited (as the client has to explicitly agree to have someone join the session) we will look for opportunities for the intern to join and sit in on a real therapy session, and see the dynamics of what goes on via firsthand exposure!
