Overview

The NJ Human Services Department offers a substance Abuse Counseling Internship located in Long Branch, NJ.

Interns only accepted during the summer: application due prior to start of summer semester.

Duties

• Clerical duties
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Observe and assist with:
  • drug screenings
  • evaluations
  • group counseling sessions

Requirements

• Must be available during work day hours (8:30 - 4:30) or Monday/Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate
• 18 years or older
