Overview



Eden Autism's mission is to improve the lives of individuals with autism. They currently serve 135 adults with autism from several locations in NJ. Of the 135, about 90 engage in problem behavior that warrants intervention and support. They utilize principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis in order to implement evidence based practice for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.

Duties

  • observations
  • data collection
  • completing indirect and direct assessments (with training, if applicable)
  • assisting with other assessment procedures (under supervision)
  • collecting staff procedural integrity checklists
  • compiling spreadsheets
  • organizing data
  • sit in on Inter-disciplinary team meetings, Human Rights Committee Meetings, and other events as they come up or as the intern shows interest.
