DYFS – Case Management Assistant (Monmouth County)

Overview

The NJ Department of Children and Families' Office of Child Protection and Permanency (DCF; formally DYFS), with offices located in Asbury Park and West Long Branch, NJ, is dedicated to ensuring the safety, well being and success of children in Monmouth County, NJ.

Internships are currently suspended due to COVID-19.

Duties

• Assist Case Manager (may involve going into the field with case manager)
• With case manager, verify reports of child abuse or neglect with schools, psychologists, etc.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• 80+ hour commitment preferred
• Background check
