Modern Therapy

Overview

Modern Therapy is a talk therapy practice that offers sessions in person out of our Eatontown, NJ office and online all across the state of New Jersey. Our mission is to modernize mental healthcare by making talk therapy more convenient and less intimidating. We treat our clients less like patients and more like partners so that they can make their life better.

Duties

• 1. Developing psychology, self-care, and lifestyle wellness-based content and distribute to our 8,000+ followers across our social media platforms (@modernonsocial - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) via Hootsuite software 2. Actively engage with our follower base on social media to promote conversations surrounding mental health and increase engagement. 3. Edit blog posts and articles written by licensed clinicians and publish to our website 4. Create the semi-monthly company newsletter and manage email campaigns through Mail Chimp software 5. Take part in community events through booth work and/or participation 6. Build relationships with local community resources, healthcare facilities, and nonprofits 7. Shadow group or individual therapy sessions when available 8. Verify client insurance eligibility on the phone with insurance payers such as Horizon BCBS and Aetna

Requirements

• Students must be earning credit for internship
